Hi, I’m Patricia. I’m a Master’s student of Visual Communication Design at Aalto University and a freelance graphic designer specialising in visual identities.
My relationship with design began through creating my first visual identity for my family’s denim business, Helsingin Farkkuvarastomyynti. Growing up around it taught me that a brand is more than a logo. It’s how people feel the moment they meet you. That’s what I design for.
I don’t think of myself just as a designer. I want to understand the field, the client and the problem before I solve anything. My curiosity began with an obsession with logos, which grew into visual identities, and now pushes me to question the traditional ones and explore something more experimental.
Some of my most fulfilling work has happened inside teams, fusing different skills and perspectives into something I couldn’t have made alone. That’s where I want to be next.
